Official inauguraton of the new AMS facility and rebuilt accelerator areas on 1st October 2010 during the celebration of the 50th birthday of the Institute of Nuclear Physics. More than 200 national and international guests participated in the official opening of the CologneAMS by the unversity administration, the dean of the University and Mr. Lagier as representative of the German Research Foundation (Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft).
